Queer West Fest adds 2 POC events: FRESH.TO.DEF PARTIES June 17 and Swagga June 19 parties to its line-up
Forest Lightbody, (dj 4est) Queer West Fest innovator and events director has done an steller job so far.
This week we added an Art Show, a Cooking Fire Festival for the whole family and a second 2 Spirited and People of Colour event to Wed June 17. Forest now has 7 of 8 days booked. The launch party June 13 was cancelled (bar sold) Forest doesn't mind sharing the spot light with his side kick and assistant, Michael P., who has been doing, press releases and all the event web editing daily, sometimes several times a day. Clap, Clap, Clap Wahoo! We are still a head of schedule and all the volunteers are assigned, trained and ready.
Toronto media is confused Queer West Arts Festival June 13-20 is not a pre-Pride event, it is not associated Pride Toronto.
