the new Raspberry Pi 2 mini Computer @ InterAccess, Raspberry
Pi 2 is a powerful mini-computer used in many interactive works. Using the RPi2,
you will learn to write code in Python, scrape data from common web sources,
and use sensors and actuators with the board. These workshops build upon each
other. Session one involves the setup of the RPi2, while session two covers
coding in Python, building external circuitry, and connecting RPi2 to various
data sources on the interwebs. In the final session, participants collaboratively
come up with a project to be created on site, with the guidance of the workshop
instructor.

Sunday November 15, 2015 - Toronto Santa Claus
Parade. A Toronto tradition for more than 100 years, the Santa
Claus Parade returns to put smiles on the faces of families all across the city.
FREE All Ages. The parade has come a long way since it first began in 1905,
when Santa first walked down the streets from Union Station to the Eaton Centre,
waving to children along the way. Today the elaborate celebration consists of
more than 25 different-themed floats, 22 bands, 100 celebrity clowns, more than
1,500 volunteers, and the big man himself, Santa. Parade begins at the Christie

The Queer Songbook Orchestra (“QSO”) is a Toronto based 12-piece chamber ensemble
comprised of a selection of the cities finest queer and allied musicians, dedicated
to compiling and re-interpreting songs that have shaped the LGBTQ community.
