Saturday, August 21 - Queen West Musicfest @ Trinity Bellwoods Park. The Trews to headline Queen West Musicfest 2010, presented by Rogers, live in Trinity Bellwoods Park. These two iconic Canadian acts will book-end an incredible afternoon of indie rock, designed to promote the tireless efforts of Queen West area musicians. Admission is FREE. Art Spin is an art crawl style bike tour of art galleries, occurring in site specific locations and visits to artists studios. Thursday, September 2 - The Judy Monologues @ Buddies in Bad Times / Tallulah's Cabaret. The Judy Monologues is a new one-act performance piece, based on rare voice recordings that Judy Garland made in the 1960’s for her never-written autobiography. Conceived and directed by Darren Stewart-Jones,the piece also features vintage film footage and some of Garland’s music. The cast includes Philip Cairns, Ryan Fisher, Darren Stewart-Jones and Kimberly Roberts as Miss Judy Garland. The production will be presented in a workshop format at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre on September 2nd at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8pm. Sept 24 to October 24 Billy Twinkle: Requiem for a Golden Boy is a playful production for adult audiences, starring master puppeteer Ronnie Burkett. The story follows the title character, a puppeteer who has recently been fired by the cruise ship he performs on. Brad Fraser's Wolf Boy, about a high school jock and a psychiatric patient with delusions of lycanthropy, gets its first theatrical run in Toronto since 1984 when a young Keanu Reeves played the Wolf Boy.
