One of our team members was at St. Joseph's Health Centre Jan 1 to Jan 13, 2015. There was phone in the room which they never used.Instead using their personal cellphone. A week later a accounting bill was received with $27 charge for a phone usage. The account department was contacted. No argument they waved the charges.
How many new comers to Canada, where English is not their Mother tongue, pay this trumped up phoney phone charge?
A hospital administrator should ask the patients if they want a phone and not assume they do leaving one plugged in beside their bed and how to use it.
In the meantime thousands of patients are being ripped off by this phoney money making
scheme by St. Joseph's Health Centre,
